In the past, Web Design students were required to complete the HTML and CSS sections of FreeCodeCamp. Recently, FreeCodeCamp has changed, and the workload for those same sections has increased significantly.
Instead of using FreeCodeCamp, we are replacing it with creative assignments that will give you more content for your websites.
We are not jumping directly into Illustrator.
This assignment begins with pencil-and-paper sketching to help you explore ideas quickly and avoid committing too early to weak concepts.
You’re going to have a lot of bad ideas, and that’s okay. For every good idea, you’re likely to have at least 10 bad ones.
It’s easier in a sketch to quickly identify your stronger ideas. Creating quick sketches first helps you avoid spending too much time refining weak concepts
These sketches do not need to be polished, clean, or ‘good.’ They are sketches. Their job is to get ideas out of your head and onto paper.
