IMC560 - 3 SEMESTER HOURS

Experiential learning working for an actual, full-service, advertising agency, Flying Pig Brand LLC.

Students will function as if they are a team of part-time employees of an advertising agency. Students will use skills in graphic design, web design, social media, photography, animation, and video to complete projects on behalf of clients. Students will hold client meetings, make pitches, and sell services. In addition, students are required to complete a working web portfolio of completed work to present to future employers.

Students enrolled in 560 shall, in addition to the duties listed above, function as lead account representatives and creative team leaders for one or more clients. As such, they will lead client and staff meetings, manage collateral materials, and organize/lead undergraduates assigned to them.

Upon completion of the course, students are required to complete a working portfolio to present to future employers.
