I’ve added test dates to the Schedule of Readings. These are firm. And timed. You won't be able to Google your way to the correct answer.
I’ve uploaded guides that explain how to set up up a thesis and write your essay and a few other helpful things you need.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you send me your thesis before committing to write the essay. If you write a history or biography instead of an argument, even “accidentally,” you’ll fail. And please don’t submit a paper about a famous baseball player. Yeah, that’s happened. Twice.
If you want to, you can even send me pieces for review (far) in advance. I'll give you feedback. Put whatever in my Dropbox, and send me a GroupMe message. If it's short, like a topic sentence or two, just use GroupMe.
How the first exam will look is in the study guide on the homepage. It's scary looking, but if you read the works and thought about the answers, you'll be fine. Use the GroupMe to get answers to the questions you need help on. Help each other.
