Greetings,

This may be the strangest course you've ever taken.

On campus, we run a full-service advertising agency, Flying Pig Brand, LLC, dba as Whoopass Branding. We work with real clients, and we never know what we're going to be working on in advance. This online class mirrors the class on-campus in scope and unpredictability.

This is a 5-week course, not a typical 15-week course, so you should adjust your time accordingly. A 3-hour credit represents 135 hours of work according to state and national accreditation standards.

With 8 people enrolled in this course, we have the working equivalent of a senior employee working for a year, excluding holidays, vacation, and sick days, so we should have pretty good results for this project. (8x135)/52=20.77 weeks

Share with one another in the GroupMe, and make certain that your final project is perfect and ready for serious consideration. This is grad school, after all.

Weeks 1-2 Project Brief

We need two company names with available .com domains for our new on-campus CCA initiative, a t-shirt and poster screen printing company that launches in August. The name emphasis is more on tees than posters. We will also be offering heat transfers, laser engraving, and advertising specialty imprinting services.

  1. Generic names are discouraged. Think imprint, tees, shirts, press, prints.
  2. Names must be short. No dashes.
