How to Get Around
Many titles on this site open full pages or hidden content. The tips below show you how to spot clickable titles.
- Short lines with a leading icon and a faint gray underline open full pages. When a short line of text starts with a small icon or emoji and sits above a faint gray underline, the line usually opens a complete page of instructions, videos, readings, or assignments. Click anywhere on the line. Colored boxes like this one also carry icons, but they only highlight information. Try the sample page just below this box.
- Toggles hide content. A small triangle sits to the left of every toggle. When the triangle points right, the toggle stays closed. Click the triangle or the heading, and the triangle turns downward to reveal the content underneath. Click again to close the toggle. Try the sample toggle just below this box.
- Your browser's Back button returns you to the previous page.
- Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac) finds any word on a long page.
- Videos play right on the page. Click play without leaving the site.
- -30- marks the end of a page. Journalists use the symbol to signal the end of a story. If you have not reached -30-, keep scrolling.
- Bookmark your course page so you can return in one click.
